I don't like to just plain plug things but:

This is a free e-book on Graphic Design concepts. Considering that it's free I consider it a very good find, as it goes over a few (but crucial) concepts within Graphic Design.

I assume these concepts could also be skewed slightly and applied to Web Design.

Personally I already knew these on my own, but this book kinda just cemented the boundaries in my mind somewhat. There's visual examples C:
For people struggling a little, it might help!

Ahah oh man.
Today we took Keno to the vet, because he was yelping while getting up last night. Everything else seemed normal otherwise. So I did a reflexive vet appoint.

He was absolutely terrible, lmao. The muzzle made him freak out and buck like some weird miniature bull. I know we're going about vet trips all wrong, so my mom says we're gonna get a basket muzzle and try familiarizing him with that. He's never seen one before.

Anyway, he flips out and the vet is like O_O
But she decides to put him on the same anti-inflammatory medication as Roly, due to his knee, which WILL get arthritic eventually, anyway.

tl;dr took dog to vet, he acted rabid, but we got him on some long-term meds.

I bought "Puppies for Dummies," and this book really is informative.

It has just occurred to me that I've been pretty happy the past couple weeks.

Ever since I saw the Newfoundland puppies and it's been made obvious my family plans on getting one, I've been in this euphoric high. I'll have something to look after diligently and a reason to get into a routine (other than school, which is barely a routine anyway). It's clear that it's going to be MY dog. I will train and groom him. The house has been kept fairly clean by our standards, slowly but surely, in group preparation.

But this nagging voice in the back of my head goes, "Yeah. Your home will probably just fall into disrepair again once the charm wears off. Then you'll have this ugly hairy house that nobody likes."

Oh well...
(Also, sorry for the many entries so far. Once the shine wears off this journal I'll probably lay off, lmao.)

UNRELATED: I read "Marley & Me." That book was so terribly charming that I read it in one day and cried at the end :C

I've edited the journal a little, and taken the immense time to upload a mood theme. Really, what moran thought up this system? I guess it's simple and effective but LJ has SO MANY mood options... I know we'd be complaining the opposite if it only had "angry, sad, happy" or w/e but y'know.

...101 Dalmations! What's not to love about this?
(it was made by amiyuy btw)
